My latest obsession...

…the P90X fitness program (http://www.p90x.com/)

I love it. I first heard of it from Scott’s sister a little while back and it seems to be taking over the world. So we decided to give it a try. I absolutely love it. It totally kicks your butt, but makes you feel great afterwards. It’s a 90 day program so we’ll see if we can stick to it for that long. Scott is doing it with me, although we have to do it at different times most of the time because of his work and church responsibilities. I’ve actually done three weeks of it a month and a half ago but something happened, I got off schedule and didn’t get back into it. I’m ready for a clean start now. Today is only day 2, I’ve done my workout for the day and I feel great.

I’m hoping that posting this will keep us motivated. Please don’t send me any hate mail. I know I’m skinny enough. I’m not really trying to lose any weight here. I just want to be toned, healthy, and have more energy. I’ve already gotten some rolled eyes when I’ve mentioned P90X. It is just something that I enjoy doing. It’s fun and it’s challenging.

So I’m extending a challenge to everyone who is reading this. Find something that will challenge you and go for it.

You’re it.

S'more photography stuff

I've decided photography does not come naturally or easy to me, by any means. It's frustrating to look at pictures after you have taken them and not see what you originally saw in your head. I think some people just have an eye for it. I don't. I have to take a million pictures before I take one that is decent.

They say practice makes perfect. We'll see.

For now, here are some more "homework" assignments - Landscape/Nature...

Lied Discovery Museum

This last Saturday we went exploring Lied Discovery Museum for kids. We went with our friends David and Kristen who have two cutest little girls just about the same age as our boys. The kids had a great time playing and exploring and we had a great time watching them.

How cute are these two?

Playing with giant bubbles

A little dress-up is always fun. They had a stage there where girls dressed up as princesses were dancing their hearts out. I think Ben was a little overwhelmed by all the girls. Or maybe it was his dinosaur costume.
I'm not sure what this was, but there was water in it so Ben was all over that one.
I had to add a picture of Andrew. He pretty much hung out in the stroller the whole time...happy as can be. I love this kid!
