We did carve some pumpkins that night. Benjamin really enjoyed gutting them and getting his hands in all the messy pumpkin goodness.

Halloween 2010
I really missed Vegas this Halloween. It's always the most beautiful weather there. It rained and it was cold here in Utah. I made Scott take the kids trick-o-treating. They made it down the street and back. The kids were wearing rain coats over their costumes. But they had fun and I guess that's all that matters.
The boys got to go to a couple parties. I wish I would have taken more pictures. All those kids in their costumes were so darn cute.
Benjamin was a spider this year. Same costume I made 2 years ago. It still fit and he was more than willing to wear it. Whew. Only one costume to make this year. I think he looked pretty cute. Although, he already informed me he wants to be something scary next year, not cute. He got a lot of "oh, you look so cute" remarks. He's done with cute :o).So there you go. Hope everybody had a fun and spooky Halloween.

Labor Day
Playing Catch Up
I know it's been a long time, so I'm going to play catch up here with a few random posts of what we've been up to lately.
First of all... Scott and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary this summer. It's been the best 6 years of my life. I love you, babe! We celebrated it by going camping for a few days in Yellowstone...with the boys. Probably not the most romantic vacation ever, but we had such a great time. Can't wait to do it again.

That's my Benjamin. Always performing for the audience.

Why I love having 2 kids...
I've been thinking lately how much I love having 2 kids. I just love watching them play together (although, they do fight too), be silly and laugh their little heads off together. I love seeing Andrew try to repeat everything that Benjamin does or says. I love how protective Benjamin is of Andrew and how he tells everybody to be nice to his brother. I love that if Benjamin gets up in the morning before I do, he gets Andrew out of his crib, gets both of them a bowl of cereal, gets the milk out of the fridge, and pours it in their bowls. They eat their breakfast together and then come get me. LOVE those mornings. I love that if one of them is getting into trouble, the other one will most likely come and tell me about it. I love seeing how different they are in so many ways and yet, how similar they are in others. They are always together. It's been so fun! I decided having two kids is just perfect.
With that being said... We are having another one. I'm 20 weeks pregnant with a little GIRL. I think my world is about to be turned upside down... Bring it on, baby girl. We can hardly wait!

Birthday Celebrations, part 2...
On to my troublemaker... Benjamin turned 4 a couple weeks ago. Unlike Andrew, Benjamin has been talking about his birthday for months now. We had it marked on the calendar and he was counting the days until the big day.
His birthday fell on a Wednesday so we just did a couple fun things during the day. I asked him what he wanted to do for his birthday, he said "have ice-cream, get presents, go for a bike ride, get a movie from redbox". Bless his heart. Gotta love the simple pleasures of childhood. And so we did as he asked.
On the following Saturday we had a little Monster Bash to celebrate his big day with his little buddies. It was a lot of fun. The weather was perfect! The company was perfect!

Happy Birthday, my little monster. We love you!

Birthday Celebrations, part 1...
My little Andrew turned 2. How is it that my baby is already 2? He's not much of a baby anymore. Sigh...We didn't do too much stuff for his birthday, since he didn't really know what was going on. He did enjoy all the attention and the presents.

As a little tribute to my little man, here's just a few fun facts about him:
1. He loves to give kisses, and we can't get enough of them.
2. He is amazingly good at sharing (except for his food; don't anybody dare touch his food).
3. He is very independent. I have never, NEVER been able to feed him. Even when he was a baby and was eating baby food. I could never feed him with a spoon. He always wanted to do it himself. He'd just used his hands until he learned to hold a spoon. He always made the biggest mess.
4. He loves to dance. Whenever he hears music, he kind of starts shaking his whole body. I wish I had a video if it, it's pretty funny. We call it the Andrew shuffle.
5. He doesn't like when I sing to him. He starts saying "no, no, no" the second I start. It's not helping my self esteem, kiddo. I already know that I'm not the greatest singer. But that bad? Really? Oh well. At least he enjoys watching me dance. That usually gets a good laugh out of him.
6. His favorite food is hotdogs and clam chowder soup.
7. He loves being held.
8. He loves trains, or "cho-chos". We have a geo-trax train trax and he can play with it all day long.
9. Lately, he's been hating the diapers. He takes them off every chance he gets and loves running around naked.
10. He loves books.
We love you, Andrew. You are such a joy!
